Kentucky State Rifle and Pistol Association is dedicated to the advancement of marksmanship and firearm safety practices through training and competition. We enjoy shooting in every genre imaginable, but we are primarily focused on marksmanship. We utilize climate controlled indoor smallbore (22LR) and air rifle ranges, as well as our access to Scott Mountain Range on Fort Knox, and the Southern Indiana Rifle and Pistol Club.
Facilities and Ranges
Scott Mountain Range
Set within the range complex of Fort Knox, this range is equiped with target stations, pits and target frames, and features firing points at 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 and 1000 yards.
Indoor Smallbore and Air Rifle Range
With a focus on junior, JROTC and college shooters, our plan is to build an indoor range to accomodate smallbore and air rifle competitions and training for Kentucky youth.

Outdoor Range Complex
Pictured here is an example of what we would like to have in the future. This is a picture of Oak Ridge Sportsmans Association near Knoxville, TN. We are currently fundraising to purchase the land necessary to build a quality, safe range in Central Kentucky which would be able to host multiple shooting disciplines including, high power rifle, shotgun, archery, 3-gun and pistol.
